TRAINING HARD: Lottie Trevethan impressed at the West Midlands Regional Biathlon Championships.
ASPIRING young pentathlete Lottie Trevethan shone at the West Midlands Regional Biathlon Championships.
The Downs School, Malvern, pupil had to run 1,600 metres and then swim 100m at Tudor Grange Leisure Centre, Solihull.
Trevethan finished second despite competing in the under-13s category at the age of just 11.
She qualified for the British Biathlon Championships this month and also the British Schools Championships at London’s Olympic Aquatic Park next March.
Trevethan trains with Worcester Swimming Club, WS7.5 Pentathlon Club in the West Midlands, Malvern Hills Fencing Club, Malvern Pony Club and with an ex-Great Britain shooter.
