Damp-proofing work is due to start in the Fisher Hall, upstairs storeroom and on the stairs on Monday, September 13. The main hall will remain in use while the work is in progress, but the areas concerned will have to be cleared. The village hall committee says that it will do its best to co-operate with everyone in finding ways to solve the problems this will cause. Regular hall users should have received, or will receive, a letter from the committee providing all the necessary details. There will obviously be some inconvenience for all users for a while, but the end result should make it all worth while. read more
