YET again we have another article complaining about the bike riders on our hills, this time involving horses (Letters, June 5).
I have ridden a bike in the past and always had a bell so that I could inform other people that I was approaching them.
It amazes me that people can spend hundreds of pounds on a bicycle and all the other gear such as a helmet and the clothes, but not a bicycle bell.
I can't remember the last time I saw a bike anywhere with one.
So why can't we try to consider the other people who want to use the hills for their own enjoyment.
Whenever I do walk on the hills I always have to keep looking behind me to see if there is a cyclist hurtling towards me.
