Preparing to dive
THIS picture shows AB(Diver) Si Smyth about to dive on the wrecked World War II aircraft mentioned in the previous post.
Si Smyth is using a mixed-gas breathing set, allowing him to dive quietly to depths greater than 40m and stay there long enough to conduct surface searches, contact identification, or plant explosive charges on mines or other objects, before retiring to the Dive Boat and the Ship.
