MOEEN Ali remains top of England’s PCA most valuable player in Test cricket rankings after his hat-trick in the win over South Africa.
The Worcestershire all-rounder, 30, has collected 94 points this summer including 18 for his treble to seal victory at The Oval.
It was the first hat-trick in 100 Tests on the ground.
Moeen will take a 12-point lead into today’s fourth and final Test against the Proteas at Emirates Old Trafford.
Ben Stokes is second after his fine all-round performance including a century in England’s first innings.
Toby Roland-Jones went straight into the top five after his memorable debut.
The Middlesex seamer took eight match wickets, including 5-57 in South Africa’s first innings, and ended his debut with 51 points.
