Player ratings from Worcester Warriors' 28-20 Aviva Premiership victory against Gloucester at Sixways.
7 Pennell: Another solid performance from the full-back, who made several trademark runs from deep.
8 Heem: Demonstrated his finishing skills with a brace. He’s a hard man to stop when in full flight.
7 Olivier: A crucial element in Warriors’ midfield and fast becoming one of the first names on the teamsheet.
7 Mills: Showed fantastic vision with his cross-kick which was gathered by Heem for the opening try. Competent against his former club.
7 Vuna: Tested under the high ball and made a couple of quick breaks. Just one blip when he gave a pass to put Pennell under pressure close to Warriors’ line.
7 Heathcote: Kicked 13 points and rattled the post with a long-range effort. Made a couple of searching breaks through midfield.
9 Hougaard: Continues to grab the headlines – and rightly so. Warriors have looked a different side with Hougaard in the driving seat.
8 Ruskin: Had promised to get upfront and personal with Gloucester’s front row and backed up his words. Strong in the scrum and quick to the breakdown.
8 Annett: Proved his worth with an all-action display and a well-taken close-range try. Impressive with his line-out throws – missing only one target.
8 Schonert: Has made huge strides during the season after being singled out by referees early on for problems at the scrum.
8 O’Callaghan: Continues to show his experience and never afraid to do the ugly things. Has forged a strong understanding with fellow lock Darren Barry.
7 Barry: What a remarkable maiden Premiership season the former Cornish Pirate is having. Aggressive and robust.
7 Dowson: Made countless tackles as Warriors came under pressure after scoring early on. Gave his all until replaced with eight minutes remaining.
8 Kirwan: Back in the starting line-up and didn’t do too much wrong. A strong ball carrier and a physical presence around rucks.
8 Van Velze: Launched himself into tackles and charged at Gloucester’s defence in an enterprising showing. A gritty captain’s performance.
Replacements: Ruskin (Leleimalefaga 67, 7), Schonert (Johnston 67, 7), Mills (Symons 68, 6), Dowson (Betty 72). Not used: Sowrey, Sanderson, Baldwin, Lamb.
Referee: Ian Tempest.
Attendance: 10,124.
Yellow card: Warriors: None; Gloucester: Moriarty, 36 mins.
