Worcester City Wanderers U16 v Rock Sport Youth
WANDERERS entertained Rock Sport Youth at home, both teams started well with Wanderers shots hitting the goal posts and Rock Sports keeper making some fine saves.
Rock Sport was the first to score against the run of play, but it wasn’t long before Wanderers Toby Attwood levelled the score at half time 1-1.
Both teams came out battling in the second half; Wanderers played some good passing football, which paid off when Daniel Brookes put them ahead 2-1.
The boys continued playing well and the rest of the second half was made with Toby Attwood and Daniel Brookes both netting 2 goals each – Rock Sport managed to pull one back in-between but it wasn’t enough to stop the excellent display of football the Wanderers showed, the whistle blew for a 6-2 win to Wanderers.
Well done to all players for an exciting game. Man Of the match was Ashley Dance, for his contribution in midfield.
