A MIDDLE-AGED sex fiend is being hunted in Glasgow after he terrorised a woman who was walking to the student village in Maryhill.
The 29-year-old victim was heading over the canal footbridge towards Murano Street when she was approached from behind by a man.
He tried to grab her handbag before indecently assaulting her. Police have described him as being white, bald, stalky, around 5ft 8in and aged 40-50. He was wearing a navy blue zipper cardigan with a black jacket.
The attack happened shortly before 1am on Saturday.
Police are also appealing for help in trying to identify a group of youths who attacked a 39-year-old man behind the Day-to-Day store in Tannadice Avenue, Cardonald, at 2.30am on Sunday.
He was taken to the Southern General Hospital where he's described as "serious but stable".
