MALVERN Radar moved up to second in the McDonald’s Worcester and District Football League Sunday Premier Division.
They thrashed University of Worcester ‘A’ 8-1 with Ricky Buckland notching a treble and Alex Scullion a double.
Matt Cole, Reece King and substitute Jon Dovey were also on target.
Malvern Rangers soared to a 7-1 success at Powick in Division Two with Lewis Doyle scoring four goals.
Joe Greaves (2) and Ryan Williams were also on target with George Simpson bagging a consolation.
James Parkes grabbed a double in The National Express’ 3-3 draw with Hornets alongside Darren Yong’s strike.
Lee Mason and Craig Preece helped Malvern Mans to a 2-2 draw at VBL Sports in Division Three.
DM Upton crashed 7-2 to Five Fathers in Division Four despite Toby Boswell’s brace. In Division Five, Jim Wilkes scored twice and Ben Warren once as Sport Dysons went down 4-3 at home to Eaton Rovers.
Lee Hooper and Dan Stowe both bagged braces as The Gloster Arms crushed Golden Lion Athletic 5-1 in the Worcester Nursing Sunday Junior Cup second round.
Andrew Fletcher was also on target, while Duncan Edwards and Sam Black netted for Callow End in a 2-0 win over Worcester Saints in the same competition.
In the Minor Cup, Tom Chadney and Luke Badham scored two each for Ale Madrid, who won 5-2 at Hylton Road Rovers.
Mark Amott also scored, while Laurence Darby netted for Falcons in a 4-1 defeat at Awkies Allstars.
Colwall St James went through in the Herefordshire FA Sunday Cup but Colwall Villlage lost were knocked out on penalties.
