POWICK are through to the Worcestershire FA Saturday Minor Cup final for the second season running.

Stuart Harvey scored twice as last year’s runners-up beat Badsey Rangers to secure a final against either Littleton Reserves or Upton Town.

Division Two leaders AA Chequers crushed Blackpole Sports 7-2 with Kevin Ginger hitting a hat-trick and Wayne Lloyd a brace. A last-minute penalty from Andrew Nolan gave Keyz 04 a 3-2 win over Old Vigornians.

Struggling Arrow 2000 Reserves have now conceded 96 goals in Division Three as they were hammered 14-1 at Nunnery Wood Colts ‘A’.

Cliff Wild netted five times with Richard Insall and Damian Eades cracking trebles.

There were doubles for Dan Blake of Malvern Victoria, who drew 4-4 with AFC Brewers, and Mark Amott as Inter Express beat New Inn Sports 4-2.

In Division Four, Westside thumped Powick ‘B’ 4-1 with Ian Radford netting all four goals.

Berwick won 5-2 at Albion, James Freeman bagging two for Berwick and Ben Shepherd doing likewise for Albion.

The match of the day in the Saturday Division saw VBL Sports win 3-2 at Hallow.

George Martin notched a double for VBL with Smith netting twice for Hallow.

Other doubles came from Ian Farney of Malvern Town Reserves, who won 3-2 at GDL Athletic, and Steve Stone in West Malvern TC’s 4-2 success at YM Rangers.
