FURIOUS Ledbury Town manager Ben Symons has called on his side to cut out individual errors when they host Dudley Town tomorrow (ko 3pm).

Ledbury face fifth-placed Dudley, who are just three points off the top in West Midlands (Regional) League Premier Division, just seven days after the New Street side crashed to a 5-2 home defeat against Wednesfield.

Dorian Colling got Ledbury’s first to make it 2-1 before he was sent off for an alleged incident of violent conduct.

Town substitute David Accam, who was making his debut after signing from Hartpury College, scored his side’s second goal.

But Symons identified a lack of discipline and individual errors as costing his side goals and all three points on Saturday.

Striker Colling is set to miss three games over the festive period for his red card but Accam is set to get his first start tomorrow.

Symons also hopes to have defender Steve Hickey available after a spell on the sidelines. Ledbury’s home Worcester Infirmary Cup tie with Bromyard Town saw the hosts handed all three points when Bromyard Town forfeited after being unable to field a side for the clash.

Symons said: “I need to have more of a leader on the pitch, we need a voice out there.

“If we perform anything like we did against Wednesfield we will be punished, Dudley are a good team.

“I was very disappointed on Saturday. We need to rectify the problems quickly.

The teams around us in the league all lost so it was disappointing that we couldn’t capitalise.

“Individual errors have cost us in the last three games.”
