TERRY Jenkins has been fined by the Darts Regulation Authority after coming to blows with Andy Jenkins at the Nuland Players Championships in Holland.

The Bull, from Ledbury, and the aptly-named Rocky clashed at the PDC event and were both brought before the sport’s disciplinary body.

World number five Terry Jenkins was charged with behaving in a manner likely to bring the sport into disrepute by assaulting Andy Jenkins on October 25.

However, Andy Jenkins from Portsmouth was handed a two-year ban for his part in the clash, 20 months of which have been suspended, after answering to the same charge.

Rocky will be banned from December 10 until April 9 and he has also been ordered to pay £500.

Ranked number 35 in the world, Andy Jenkins was also involved in an incident involving Nick Fulwell at the same event.

No charges were brought against Jenkins, while Fulwell has been fined £500.

All players have seven days to appeal the sanctions handed to them by the DRA.

The Bull has dropped a place to sixth in the rankings for the 2010 Ladbrokes.com World Darts Championship has now been confirmed, with a record 25 countries competing for £1million prize money at Alexandra Palace from December 18 to January 3.

Mervyn King becomes the number five seed, after jumping above Jenkins in the Order of Merit by reaching the final of the PartyPoker.net German Darts Championship.

Jenkins was beaten 8-3 by Paul Nicholson in the quarter-finals of the tournament in Halle and pocketed £3,000 for his losing efforts.

The world’s biggest darts tournament, shown live on Sky Sports, will see 72 players battling for the record £200,000 first prize in the sport’s first £1 million event.

In total, 16 players will compete in the preliminary round in a bid to join the other 56 in the first round proper, with the opening stages held from December 18-23.

The second and third rounds will be held from December 27-30.
