EATON Rovers threw the race for the McDonald’s Worcester and District Football League Division Four title wide open with a last-gasp 3-2 win against fellow challengers Lower Teme and Martley.

Ricardo Costa and Jamie Tongue were on target for Eaton who were 2-1 down before Steve Pitt sealed victory from the penalty spot in the 89th minute.

Eaton now top the table but St Johns Colts will be crowned champions if they win their last two fixtures, including a final match against Lower Teme on April 30.

Elsewhere Brewers Arms beat Malvern Radar Youth 5-3 as Leighton Evans hit a hat-trick with Dave Smith and Leon Bayliss also on the scoresheet.

Grosvenor Sports drew 3-3 with Tenbury Athletic with Kieran Burston, Craig Collins and Ryan Walker their scorers.

In the Premier Division a single strike from Jack Parker gave Colwall Village victory over Upton Snodsbury.

FC Sporting Worcester hammered an under-strength St Johns 11-0 in division one with Kyle Belmonte netting four times and Zaq Hussain and Tom Corbett both cracking hat-tricks.

Goals from Ranier Wilson and Adam Clay gave Virgin Athletic a 2-1 win against Hallow Village.
