WELLAND held their annual presentation evening at the village’s Marlbank Inn.
They were promoted to Cheltenham Association Football League Division Two as champions after winning Division Three by eight points from Leckhampton Rovers.
But Leckhampton pipped the villagers to the Junior Charity Cup.
Welland’s end-of-season tour to Amsterdam saw the tourists lose to CSW Wilnis and draw with De Bilt.
The presentation evening saw Paul Edwards win manager’s player and players’ player of the year, while captain’s credit went to Ben Pearson.
Omar Elmougy retained his top scorer tag with 30 goals and there were merit awards for Simon Barnett and Craig Tommey.
Welland will start a reserve side for the 2015-16 campaign in Division Six.
Pre-season training begins on Thursday, July 2, at 6.30pm at Spitalfield and new players are welcome.
