MANOR Park junior Lilia Mico reached the grade five red mini-tennis tournament final at the Malvern club.
She narrowly lost to Bromsgrove’s Matthew Bevins despite beating him in the group stage.
Park enjoyed success in the Orange nine-and-under Aegon League when their team of Sam Laidler, Sam Clements, Lois Burgess and Sam Cassidy defeated Pershore 9-1 on rubbers.
Meanwhile, a mixed social tournament took place at the Malvern club for members and non-members alike.
The winning men were Ian Combe and Richard Young, while Suzanna Michael and Annie Sharp proved successful in the women’s event.
Park will stage an open afternoon on Sunday, June 14, in conjunction with the Great British Tennis Weekend.
Free sessions in mini-tennis, cardio tennis and for adults will be available. To register, visit clubspark.lta.org.uk/OpenDays
