EASTNOR scored 249 all out but fell to a six-wicket defeat at Bridgnorth in Birmingham and District Premier League Division Two.

The third-from-bottom Herefordshire side were fired by Jack Myers (82) and opener Andrew Fisher (50) in their 50 overs, with skipper Clive Chadhani adding 26.

But Bridgnorth stormed home with 253-4 in 43 overs, with Ryan Lockley (92 not out) and Simon Gregory (75) doing much of the damage.

Shameer Ahmed scored 92 as the Seconds thrashed Dorridge by 116 runs in Division Two South.

Eastnor will host a T20 Unicorns Minor Counties competition on Sunday.

Herefordshire will play Wales at 10am before Oxfordshire face Shropshire at 1pm.

The winners will then play the final at 4pm.

Meanwhile, Bromyard remain winless in Worcestershire League Division One after an eight-wicket defeat to Oldswinford and Stourbridge Social.

Ash Bullock (32) top-scored for the visitors in their 133 all out, but Oldswinford romped home inside 31 overs.

In Division Four, Hanley Castle and Upton ended a run of four defeats with a winning draw at home to Kidderminster Victoria Thirds.

Grant Mathews added a vital 57 in the hosts’ 214 all out with Will St Leger-Chambers (33), Daniel Powell (27) and Adam Troop (27) also contributing.

Victoria held on in reply with 198-8 as Chris Duckworth took 3-32 and Todd Matthews 3-56.

Elsewhere, Colwall Seconds beat their Worcester Nomads counterparts by 43 runs in Division One.
