THE children’s playground at Upton playing fields has been attracting compliments and admiring glances after receiving a colourful new-look courtesy of Upton Town Council.
Caretaker Adam Lowndes has carried out minor repairs and given all the equipment in the playground colourful new coats of paint.
Town clerk Andrea Oliver said the new look had received the all-important seal of approval from the families and children that use it.
“The work has really freshened the play area up and we’ve had lots of positive feedback about it,” she said. “It’s certainly a lot brighter and more eye-catching and lots of people have commented on just how different it looks.”
