Posh picnic planned for retiring teachers
A POSH picnic will be held at a Powick school to show appreciation for the work of two retiring teachers.
Richard Drewett, the headteacher of Powick Primary School, will retire after 18 years at the school.
He will be succeeded by deputy Anthony Dixon-Gough.
Music teacher Jan Appleby will also be retiring after 12 years.
Past pupils, parents, colleagues and governors are all welcome to bring a picnic and seating to the informal evening at 6pm on Tuesday, July 14 where there will be music provided.
