AN eighteen-year-old man has been taken to hospital with a broken collarbone following an accident just outside Ledbury.
The patient was trapped inside his car for 45 minutes before being freed.
All three emergency services were called to reports a car was on its side on the A449 about a mile outside the market town just after 11am this morning.
An air ambulance was also called but not needed.
The patient, the sole occupant of the car, was helped from the vehicle by the fire service before being taken by land ambulance to Hereford County Hospital.
Alongside the broken collarbone he also had a number of cuts and grazes, including to his head.
The road was closed while recovery work took place but has now reopened.
