YOUNG people in Droitwich who are not in education, employment or training, have the opportunity to get some free training and work experience as part of a traineeship scheme being organised by Droitwich Council for Voluntary Service.
The service has received funding to offer young people aged 16-18 a place on the scheme, which will provide them with qualifications in everything from retail and hospitality skills, to agriculture and estate maintenance, and sports coaching.
The traineeships will give people a mixture of valuable qualifications, work skills, and experience, with a range of work experience placements on offer.
To find out more about the traineeship programme, contact the Droitwich Council for Voluntary Service on 01905 779115 or write to pauline@droitwichcvs.org.uk.
Alternatively people interested in joining the scheme, are welcome to pop into the Old Library Centre on Omberlsy Street East, and have a chat with any of the staff.
