A MALVERN teacher is taking part in a gruelling challenge this weekend which involves cycling 50 miles, hiking up a mountain and canoeing across a lake.
The event takes place in Cumbria and is called Race The Sun, as teams start the challenge at sunrise and must complete it the before sunset.
Former Dyson Perrins student Andrew Shrubb is trying to raise £2,000 for Action Medical Research, a charity which seeks to improve the quality of life for sick people and make debilitating diseases a thing of the past.
Mr Shrubb said: "We're all touched by illness at some time in our lives and because this charity helps so many different causes we wanted to support it."
