A MAN was taken to hospital with suspected broken legs following a car crash on the A4107 Hereford to Worcester road at Bransford.

The crash, at about 2.30am on Monday, August 28, near the Fox pub, involved a Vauxhall Astra car and a Daf van belonging to a local dairy.

The road was closed while firefighters freed the driver from the wreck of the car. Paramedics and a doctor treated him at the scene, before he was taken to hospital at Worcester.

His injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. There van driver was not thought to have been injured. The road remained closed until about 4.30am.
