WORK started this week on a multi-million pound revamp of a Malvern town centre supermarket.
The renovation project at Waitrose, Edith Walk, is expected to be completed by the end of October.
It follows surveys of shoppers by the company to find out what customers really wanted from the store.
The work includes a new wine department and bigger fresh fruit and vegetable section, as well as improved salad and olive bars. There will also be more convenience and frozen food.
Branch manager Scott Whittaker said: "We're always looking at ways to improve as a business to ensure we continue to offer our customers what they want.
"We've worked out a programme that will provide shoppers with a state-of-the-art store with minimal disruption. I'm sure everyone will be delighted with the result."
It is not yet known if the store will have to close during the work.
