MALVERN Community Forest is once again holding a bird box sponsorship scheme this year.
For £8 you can sponsor a bird box which will be numbered and placed in local woodlands, including the Community Woodland at Townsend Way.
During the nesting season, a survey will be carried out by a qualified ornithologist and organisers will let anyone who sponsors a box know what activity has taken place in their boxes.
There will also be a bird box workshop next Saturday, February 19, at Malvern Youth Centre, Albert Park Road, from 3pm to 5.30pm.
