POLICE investigating the death of a woman from Malvern are treating the incident as suspicious.
A woman in her 30s was found dead at her home in Cooper Street just after 7pm on Friday.
Officers investigating have confirmed they are linking the death to another that occurred shortly beforehand in Worcester.
Police were called to the Crowngate shopping centre at about 5.30pm and found a man in his late 20s found outside the multi-storey car park with serious head injuries. He was taken to Worcestershire Royal Hospital but died shortly after.
Detective Inspector Jon Wallis said: “We were called to two separate incidents on Friday which, after initial enquiries, we are now linking.
“The man and the woman were in a relationship and we are not looking for anyone else in connection with the two deaths.”
Post mortems have taken place and results await further tests. Worcestershire coroner Geraint Williams, has been informed and inquests are set to open in due course.
Police have not yet named either of the deceased.
