AN enterprising group of students from Hanley Castle High School are hoping to capitalise on the festive market by selling hampers packed full of local produce.
The students formed their company Hanley Hampers and Gifts as part of the long-running Young Enterprise scheme, which aims to help young people develop business skills.
They approached local businesses with their idea and have put together hampers containing produce from Clive’s Fruit Farm, Wye Valley Honeys and Franks Foods.
They have also received sponsorship from the Morgan Motor Company, Worcester Bosch and Shop Direct.
The hampers cost £20 and anyone who would like to place an order, or find out more, should contact finance director Rory Matthews on rorymathews@hotmail.co.uk.
