PHOTOGRAPHER Les Clarke of Malvern will have one of his images featured in next year's calendar from the Worcestershire Wildlife Trust.
Mr Clarke's picture, showing a puffball fungus emitting spores, was one of the 12 selected out of more than 170 entered into the calendar competition.
Entrants were asked to submit pictures reflecting the diversity of countryside and wildlife around the county. Mr Clarke's was taken at the Pipers Hill nature reserve, near Bromsgrove.
Wendy Carter, of the Trust, said: “We couldn’t believe how many people entered the competition and were really impressed with the incredibly high standard of photographs we received."
