A MODERN twist on the nativity play saw pupils from Wyche Primary School dancing along to hits by Robbie Williams, the Jackson Five and the Bee Gees.

They performed the second and final night of “It’s a Baby” yesterday in front of a packed crowd in the school’s hall.

Teacher Sam Baylis said: “They have all been practicing their dancing and have worked really hard. All the parents who came last night enjoyed it. We have got a little hall but it was absolutely packed.”

The story, based around the tale of the inn-keeper, saw children dressed as angels dancing along to the Robbie Williams hit of the same name, stars boogieing along to Saturday Night Fever by the Bee Gees and shepherds strutting their stuff to Can You Feel it by the Jackson Five.
