MEDICATION for Swine Flu can now be picked up from Boots the Chemist at the Enigma retail park in Malvern.
The venue is one of six new places in Worcestershire where ‘flu friends’ will be able to pick up antivirals. First patients with flu-like symptoms must first be gven an authorisation number for antivirals by the National Pandemic Flu Service.
Richard Harling, director of public health for Worcestershire, said: “Although the swine flu pandemic is developing more slowly than first anticipated, locally there continues to be a steady number of cases requiring antiviral medication.
“These six new locations will also be more convenient for flu friends, offering a greater choice of location and longer opening hours.”
