PLANS to demolish a bungalow and build five new homes in Peachfield Road have been submitted to Malvern Hills District Council for consideration.
The application, made by the Shaw family, seeks to build the new dwellings at 30A Peachfield Road, on the site of a former nursery that has just ceased trading.
At present outline permission is being sought for the development, with the detailed design of the houses to be agreed through a ‘reserved matters’ application at a later date.
However a supporting statement says that careful consideration has been given to the positioning and orientation of the new houses to avoid “overlooking” and loss of amenity to existing properties in both Fruitlands and Peachfield Road.
