HISTORIC Croome Park, near Upton upon Severn, is remaining open for the winter season.

The landscaped park will be open four-days-a-week, from Fridays until Mondays, from 10am to 4pm until December 20.

Visitors can also enjoy a look around the recently-restored Croome Court, which will be open on the same days from 11am until 3.30pm.

The park also has several special events happening during the winter season. On Wednesday, November 25, a workshop with Jenni Stuart-Anderson will give people the chance to try ‘Raggy Bag Making’. The workshop costs £50 and places must be booked in advance.

Then on Saturday, December 5 the annual Carols at Croome concert takes place. There will be two concerts, with a family event at 4pm being followed by the main concert at 6pm.

The Malvern Priory Singers will lead the concerts, which take place in the church of St Mary Magdalene, located in the park.

Tickets cost £8 for adults, £5 for children and £20 for a family of four and booking is essential.
