TWO brothers have raised more than £300 to help a national charity.

Tim and Tom Leaman put up a display of Christmas decorations outside their house in Beauchamp Road, Malvern in aid of Guide Dogs UK.

The brothers left a donation box outside their house over the festive period and managed to raise £303.09 which was a big increase on the £140 they raised last year.

Tom Leaman said: "We just want to thank all the public that came along and enjoyed the light display and for also donating to this good cause. It means a lot to us."

"We support this charity as our stepdad has a guide dog.

"It's such a big help to him and without people's support in donating there would be no guide dogs to help people get around and about as this charity gets no government funding."

They decorate the house every year but only started raising money for guide dogs last year.
