MALVERN Hills District Council has received plans for drainage and a main spine road at North Site.
Persimmon Homes is preparing a development of 390 homes, primary school and a community building at the 20.9 hectare former Ministry of Defence site, off Leigh Sinton Road.
Drainage is a sensitive issue for the site, with residential areas off Leigh Sinton Road already prone to flooding during heavy rain.
Birmingham based agent WSP Development and Transportation has submitted detailed plans for the site's drainage infastructure, which it states are satisfactory to both Persimmon and the ecology of the area.
