THRILL-seekers can take part in a 150ft charity abseil down the north-west tower of Eastnor Castle on Sunday.

The event has been organised by the Acorns Childrens Hospice, which offers care and support for life-limited children and their families across the Three Counties.

Anyone wishing to take on the challenge can register on the day for £15, providing they pledge to raise £100 for the hospice following the event.

Acorns community fundraiser Sophie James said the castle would offer abseilers the best views around.

The minimum age for the abseil is 12 and all under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. For more information call Sophie James on 01386 554848 or email sophie.james@acorns.org.uk.
