A Malvern woman will have her locks chopped off in aid of charity this weekend.
Judy Starkie will brave the shave in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support, as two of her friends are currently going through cancer treatment.
She said: "I have two friends going through cancer treatment and they are having to cope with losing their hair with no choice about it.
"They are coping admirably and I hope I can as well."
The head shave is part of a table top and car boot sale, also in aid of charity , which will be put on by traders of Fir Tree Walk, Malvern.
Last month's table top sale was in aid of St Richard's Hospice.
It is set to go ahead tomorrow (Saturday, August 1) from 10am until 2pm, while Judy will undergo the chop from 12pm.
Her exploits have already raised more than £300 for the cancer charity, but she hopes to raise £1,000.
