MALVERN Hills District Council will be asked to consider changing Upton’s Monday morning waste collection slot.

Speaking at the latest meeting of Upton Town Council, Tim Perry said there was a problem with rubbish bags being left out in the street on Saturday afternoons and Sundays ahead of the early-morning collections.

“It is a bit of a problem when you are trying to attract tourism,” he said.

Coun Perry said district councillor Syd Harrison would be asking if an alternate collection slot can be arranged.
