A MALVERN nursery is celebrating after receiving a coveted outstanding rating from Ofsted, the educational inspection agency.
Brighter Futures at Playspace, which is based at Great Malvern Primary School in Barnards Green, received a Grade One rating in every one of the 17 judgement categories considered by the inspector, Diane Hancock.
In her report, she described the nursery as a place where the children are "very happy" in a "friendly welcoming environment where they enjoy a wealth of activities".
Nicola Turrell, who has owned the nursery since September last year, said: "We're absolutely delighted, because of the huge amount of work that we've put into it."
The nursery provides care for a roll of 53 children, and plans are afoot to move to new premises at the former primary school in Poolbrook in September this year.
