We are working hard on the preparations for our entry this year for the prestigious annual Heritage Open Days event. Google 'Heritage Open Days' and in 'search', type in Triangle of Faith, and you will find listed three historic churches in this one parish of Berrow with Pendock, which will be open from 11am to 4pm on Saturday 10 September.

The trail to two medieval churches and a rare Victorian mission chapel traces the development of the rural economy and population settlement. Regular worship still takes place at the Church of the Redeemer, Lower Pendock and at St Faith's Church, Berrow. The Church (no dedication), Pendock is cared for by the Churches Conservation Trust www.visitchurches.org.uk. Plan your visit depending on the direction you are coming from so you can see the remarkable contrast in the places of worship in this area.

You can also see the progress of the Restoration Project at St Faith's, which is generously supported by a grant from the Heritage Lottery Fund. Stewards will be there to greet you and there will be a trail leaflet at each venue with more details about the history of the churches.

Information about the fantastic (and historic!) local pubs, the Farmers Arms at Birtsmorton and the Duke of York at Berrow, will also be available so you can have a really good day out. Tea and refreshments will be available at Berrow Village Hall (next to the church) from 1.30 to 4pm. Remember heritage matters - and it's on your doorstep!
