Malvern Special Families Sponsored Walk
Malvern Special Families Trustees Sarah Musgrave and Mark Wilson are leading a group of walkers to complete the length of the Malvern Hills this coming Sunday. The challenge of walking 9.5 miles is not huge, but is sufficient to allow families to join in the fun. The group will begin their walk at 9.30am on Sunday from the Clock Tower Car Park on North Hill and will walk to Chase End, scaling the peaks as they go. Both Mark and Sarah are keen walkers and Sarah has completed this several times before. She says ‘It is a lovely way to enjoy our beautiful Hills whilst raising awareness of this worthy charity and raising much needed funds.’ The group will be identified by the blue and yellow balloons they will be carrying – if you are on the Hills on Sunday, do look out for them!
The money raised from this event will help to improve the equipment Malvern Special Families use for the playgroups they provide at weekends and during school holidays.
