The Hills Singers are performing on Saturday 2 July at Malvern Evangelical Church WR14 2QX, delivering a varied programme with something for everyone. The music includes sacred pieces by Byrd, Bruckner, Stanford and Rachmaninov, spirituals, madrigals, Shearing's Songs and Sonnets from Shakespeare and the well-loved favourites Blue Moon and I Got Rhythm. Talented local pianist Tim Sidford will provide accompaniment and, in the Shearing songs, he will be joined by Richard Percy on bass. Refreshments will be served during the interval and tickets cost just £10 (£5 students) at the door. This promises to be a most enjoyable evening of delightful music - do come and join us.
