MANY thanks to all those who supported our Open Gardens event last weekend, especially to those who hosted by opening their gardens to the public and to those who provided delicious food in the Parish Hall. We welcomed many visitors who took the opportunity of touring the eight gardens on display and lingering over refreshments to enjoy the improved summer weather. The financial success of this event is not yet known, but socially it was a wonderful way to relax and meet others with a shared interest in gardening and plants. Thanks are also extended to the Ledbury Community Brass Band who played so beautifully for our Songs of Praise Service of Thanksgiving which closed the event on Sunday evening. We look forward to seeing them again at St Gregory's when they return at Christmas to perform an evening concert of festive music.

Our next fundraising event to support the Development Project is an evening of Strawberries and Bubbles at Mason's Farm on Saturday 23 July. Tickets for this event cost £10 to include smoked salmon and local strawberries and are available from Roger and Cas Best (01684 833445). Numbers are strictly limited so be sure to secure yours quickly!

The service at St Gregory's this Sunday is 'Kaleidoscope', our alternative form of evening service at 6.30pm, when all are welcome to join us to sing modern worship songs and hear an inspiring talk from The Revd Chris Moss.
