PRE-DATING our Queen's ninetieth birthday celebrations we have joined in the jollity of similar notable dates for several of our residents here, some even overhauling Her Majesty in age. April saw our first Golden Wedding and in May a bride will use Clarence Park as her base for the happy day, (not however a Resident!) Our Knit & Natter group produces items to sell for various charities but it also makes them to help needy causes such as premature baby units. Within our families imminent births or special events and birthdays trigger the choice of knitting.

We enter May with a concert by our own choir followed by a celebration of VE Day and would invite you to join us at two other events during the month:-

Saturday May 14 A night of music, food and dancing with Midlife Crisis. A buffet, included in the ticket price of £5.50 for non-residents, will be served at 7pm and the entertainment begins at 8pm (the ticket cut off date is Tuesday, May 10.)

Saturday May 21 at 7.30pm - the bar opens at 7pm- a Sing Along with Worcester Ukulele. This is a Get together organised by our Residents' Association to raise money for the Midlands Air Ambulance.

Tickets are £5 and all proceeds are being donated to the charity.
