MALVERN Floral Art Club held their AGM on Tuesday, April 26. Chairman Ann Oldfield opened the meeting and welcomed all members present. Minutes from last years meeting were read and approved, apologies given. Ann then gave her report and thank everyone for their help during the two years she had been chairman everyone agreed she had done a wonderful job. Secretary Judy Smith then gave her report saying it had been a successful year with very good floral demonstrations, trips, coffee mornings and garden tours. Treasurer Sandra Starkey followed with her report and explained the balance sheet. Subscription remain the same £32 annually. Visitors £6. Election of new committee. Chairman Helena Goddard. Vice Chairman Jean Morris Secretary Judy Smith.Treasurer Sandra Starkey. Committee Christine Peer, Pat Lamb, Marilyn Eardisley, Mary Martin. A trip will be arranged to a garden centre in August. Meeting closed at 2.35pm. Everyone then joined in a quiz and this was followed by tea and cakes Next meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 24 2pm at Hanley Swan Village Hall, there will be a cake stall also a Floral Demonstration. All visitors welcome.
