FROM our ancient lute last month to ancient history this month.
The Society’s AGM starts tonight at 7pm, after which Tim Hoverd, Archaeological Projects Manager for Herefordshire Council, will give a talk entitled, rather spookily, “The halls of the dead”.
There has been a series of excavations in the county recently, at sites such as Lower Brockhampton, and this is our opportunity to hear about the latest discoveries.
We do hope you will be able to join us at the Burgage Hall for the talk, even if you don’t wish to come to the AGM.
It was so rewarding to see so many of you at the last meeting and if you have any topic you would like a talk to cover, do let me know. I’m always open to suggestions – within reason! If you have friends who would like to come, please bring them along.
