ON Sunday, February 14, Parish Communion, a modern service using contemporary language and music, will be celebrated at 9.30am at Holy Trinity Church, Bosbury. All are welcome.

The next Flicks in the Sticks at Bosbury Parish Hall, on Friday February 19, will be The Walk (PG), a gripping drama based on a true story. In 1974, high-wire artist Philippe Petit (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) recruits a team of people to help him realize his dream: to walk the immense void between the World Trade Centre towers. ‘The Walk’ attempts a tricky balancing act between thrilling visuals and fact-based drama — and like its wire-walking protagonist, pulls it off with impressive élan. Homemade ice cream, wine and nibbles will be available on the night. Entrance is £5. Doors open at 7.15pm for a 7.30pm start.

The next Farmers’ Market and Coffee Morning will be on Saturday, February 20, between 10.30 and noon, at Bosbury Parish Hall. New stalls are always welcome, space permitting. To take a stall you need to pre-book by calling Rhinedd (01531 640076) or Liz (01531 640415).
