OUR next CaCoffany will be held on Saturday, November 7 when a new programme of favourite hymns will be presented on the theme of Remembrance.
This attracts interest from a wide area and visitors are always most welcome. Singing takes place from 10am to 10.45am and on this occasion we are delighted to have with us violist Cecily Howick who will play to give us a break in the programme. From 10.45am to 11.30am we enjoy coffee and cake and have the opportunity to purchase goods from the monthly bring and buy stall which raises funds for the maintenance of our lovely church. Do make a note of this date, and also that of our Christmas Special on Saturday, December 5, and come along to join us if you can.
We are looking ahead to two Christmas concerts. The first is with Ledbury Community Brass Band and Bredon School Choir on Thursday, December 3 at 7.30pm. Tickets for this popular evening of festive music are available from Kevin Jeffery on 01531 635310.
On Sunday, December 6 we are delighted to welcome the Choir of Clare College Cambridge to Castlemorton for a concert of sublime Christmas music at 6.30pm. This represents a rare opportunity to hear these wonderful voices in the beautiful setting of St Gregory's.
