WELLAND Fete is on Saturday, June 27.

It starts at 11am until 3pm. Dr.Jennings and his wife will be opening the fete. There will be the usual stalls, bouncy castle, skittles, welly-wanging , tombola, our famous cake stall (be early or they will all be gone) strawberries and cream and an excellent raffle. Tea and coffee and more cakes in the hall. Entrance free. Do come and join the fun. See you there.

Cream teas at St James’ Church are back again by popular demand! On Sunday afternoons teas will be served from 3pm until 5pm (excluding the third Sunday in each month) finishing on August 30. Inside or outdoor, what a pleasant way to spend a relaxing afternoon!

The dates for the car-boots are as follows:- June 28, July 5, 12 & 19 and August 2, 9 & 16. August 23 and 30 are reserved dates and there will be no car-boot on July 26 (Welland Steam Fair). All dates are Sundays, of course and start at 9am. They will be at usual venue and all are asked to park responsibly and obey the marshals.

As part of the Citizens Advice Bureau initiative to reach rural areas Neville and Liz Mills will be your Local Community Volunteers for Welland and Castle Morton, and will be available at St James church Welland during the Tuesday morning Just Clobber Sales. to answer questions, provide support, or refer problems to the CAB Malvern office.
