MALVERN LION TO LEAD THE PRIDE!

MALVERN Hills Lions Club members are very proud to report that as the Club prepares to celebrate 40 years of providing service and support to the people of the Malvern Hills and to others in need around the world, a member of the Club has been elected to lead the Lions organisation right across the Midlands as District Governor.

Lion Heather Jeavons has been president of the Malvern Club on two occasions and has been the Zone Chairman for all of the Worcestershire Clubs. As she prepares for her year as District Governor, she said:

“ I am very proud to be a member of Malvern Hills Lions Club, and of the excellent work which the Club has done over the last 40 years. The support and friendship which I have received from fellow Lions has been outstanding, and I am delighted to have the honour of leading the District in my own club's anniversary year.”

Malvern Hills Lions are again organising their annual Bluebell Walk on Sunday, May 31, and this year will support Guide Dogs, Community Action Malvern and District and recognized charities chosen by walkers will benefit from the proceeds of the walk.

The club welcomes new members from all walks of life, and if you would like to learn more about becoming a Lion, visit the club web site www.e-clubhouse.org/sites/malvernhills/ find us on facebook, email MalvernHillsLions@gmail.com or phone 0845 833 7439. Lions care about very penny that they collect and ensure that every penny counts. Every penny collected goes to good causes. Not one penny is spent on administration.
