THE next fund raising event for St Gregory's is a Folk and Blues evening at Castlemorton Parish Hall on Saturday, March 14.
This is an Open Mike evening with Med Snookes, Alan Smailes and friends, and performers are encouraged to attend. Entrance is £5 and a bar will operate throughout the evening from 7.30pm. Tickets and further details are available from Roger Best (01684 833445) and Med Snookes (01684 833477).
We have now entered the season of Lent and our Lent Course, offering a wide variety of topics for discussion, will run for the next six Tuesdays. The first session is to be held at Bannut Tree House from 7.15pm to 9.15pm. The Reverend Tim Marks will speak and then lead discussion on the topic of Suffering: God's megaphone? All are welcome to attend, but please telephone hosts David Edwards and Ruth Davis in advance (01684 833028) so numbers may be catered for.
