AT least six of the Wellington Heath residents are taking part in the Christmas choir concert at the theatre this evening and again tomorrow night, 7.30pm.

If you can’t manage to get to that special event, you will certainly find a welcome at Christ Church (Church Lane, top of the hill) at 9.30am when the Wellington Heath Carol Service takes place. The Christmas Day Service is also at 9.30am and everyone is welcome to celebrate Christ’s birth.
There was a good turn-out for the new residents gathering in the Memorial Hall last Saturday. We hope that our new friends will settle happily into the life of Wellington Heath.
To all who will be travelling at this time, take care and come back safely. To all who are remaining here for the Christmas and New Year celebrations, have a lovely time. Thank you to all the volunteers who have worked hard in the village, in many different areas and ways, to make it such a great place to live.
And as this will be my last contribution for the year, I leave you with these words from Robert Bonet:
“Enjoy the little things in life because one day you’ll look back and realize they were the big things.”
